Welcome to the Edmonton Woodturners Guild website!

The aim of the Guild is to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere where woodturners can learn, teach and share their love of woodturning. The Guild welcomes everyone of all skill levels, amateur to professional.

ED Pretty Woodturning Demonstration

The Edmonton Woodturners Guild is proud to present a one day demonstration by well known professional woodturner Ed Pretty on Saturday June 1, 2019.

The demo begins at 9 am at Canadian Woodworker, 4920-99 St. and costs $50.00.

The demo topics are Beyond the ABC's and Replication.

Ed lives in Langley BC and has been turning for over 50 years. Ed has spent a lifetime as a maker of functional and artistic wood creations. His work is available in galleries in B.C.

Ed has demonstrated and taught many times for the two turning guilds he belongs to. He likes to teach new woodturners and has developed a Focus on Fundamentals program for both guilds. Presently he teaches  a variety of woodturning seminars for Lee Valley Tools in Coquitlam as well.
